Online Testing Procedures

   

These on-line tests are available for free only to current dues paying members of IBEW Local union 1547 or traveling members residing in Alaska.


Welcome to the AJEATT’s on-line solution to helping you earn up to 16 hours of NEC related instruction for renewal of your state of Alaska Journeyman Electrician Certificate of Fitness.

These procedure must be followed specifically:

1.    Choose Online Testing under the Calendars and Upgrade Classes tabs above.

2.    Create a new account by following the procedures listed on the right side of the page.  If you have already created an account, you may login and begin testing.

3.    The Ampacity and Grounding tests each have a time limit of 4 hours and each is worth 4 hours of credit, all other tests have a time limit of 2 hours and each is worth 2 hours of credit.

4.    Be sure to have a code book ready and be prepared to spend the full time working on the test, as you can only access the test one time with the given username and password.  You cannot login and logout repeatedly.

5.    When you have finished the test you will be given your score as well as an opportunity to review your answers along with the correct answer for each question.  You must achieve a score of 70% or better for successful completion.

6.    Your test results will be e-mailed to the apprenticeship school where you may obtain your continuing education credits.
